Semester 1 at BYU IDAHO

So, to some up my first experience at the "Desciple Training Center" was definitely an experiment... and a learning experience.
The first half was great, I met some great people and got to know my dorm neighbors. Classes were generally good, and I found myself keeping up with the work, despite my fears. (I actually managed an A in my math class 0.0). Then, in the beginning of November, I got really sick. I had a bad fever and a sore throat, and I was just so tired. I checked myself into the doctors and waited patiently after they took my blood (twice... i might add). I sat calmly on that bed thing, you know, the one that has the really loud paper that makes a nice imprint of your butt when you sit on it... so the doctor comes in and tells me i "have the big M." Are you serious? Yeah. So needless to say that was unfortunate. The rest of the semester was kind of dreadful. I took a 3 hour nap almost every day, never went outside except for class, and nursed the worst sore throat in the history of sore throats. I can honestly say that I have never felt anything so painful as that sore throat. My tonsils were so swollen that I had about a nickle size airway to breathe and eat with. Pain. Seriously.
So the rest of my semester really stunk to high heaven. So it was a huge relief to come and sleep in my own bed, and see my friends again.
Well, here are some pictures I conjured during the time when I didn't feel like a zombie from I Am Legend.

This is Alex. We found him in a bush. We turned him in to the animal shelter, he was skin and bone.

Hello All

Hello bloggers. So I'm new to this, and don't know exactly what to do about this blogging thing... however, I am going to give it a try! Who knows, maybe i'll discover myself with this. We'll see :)
I'm going to post a lot of my poems, songs, thoughts, etc. They've been sitting in a notebook for too long!
Well, here goes nothing.
